Karl has worked in the automated valve industry for 34 years, working 14 years for Emerson Electric at their Alco Controls division, and later for Emerson Process Management. He has worked at Richards Industrials for over 20 years as Hex Valve and Bestobell Product Manager, Hex Valve Projects Manager and currently, as the Director of Marketing – Pharma. Karl is a 1983 graduate of the University of Missouri system having studied premed at the Columbia Campus, and Business Administration/Marketing at the St. Louis Campus. Karl is originally from Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, and a proud graduate of Valle High School. Go Warriors – record for most Class 1 Football State Titles!
Megan Cider Elm
Global Product Manager - Pharma/Stainless Steel Products
Megan is responsible for driving sustainable, profitable growth of the existing / commercialized Steriflow and Equilibar FDO stainless steel product lines into BioPharma & Parenteral process applications. She is also responsible for development and implementation of our New Product Development Roadmap for our stainless steel product offering. Megan graduated with honors from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
Bill joined the Richards Industrials team as a Design Engineer for the Steriflow Valve product line. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and has a Masters of Engineering Management from Old Dominion University. Bill retired as a Lieutenant Commander from the US Navy; he was a Nuclear Power Trained Officer and a veteran of the Afghan War and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He comes to us from Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, Virginia where he served as a Senior Engineer performing weapon lethality and effectiveness analysis.
Bill is the Chief Engineer of Steriflow Valve and Engineering Manager.
Regional Sales Manager
Garrett joined Richards Industrials in April 2017. He is new to the valve industry but has experience in sales and service. As regional manager, he’s responsible for sales of all seven Richards product lines. His duties include: training and support of the sales channel, identification of new and emerging markets, and the recruitment of new representatives and distributors.
Regional Sales Manager
Tara was promoted to the position of Regional Sales Manager in 2020. Tara was previously a Client Consultant at Richards. Her role will be to build, develop and lead a team of sales representatives focused on driving growth for our products lines including Jordan Valve, Steriflow Valve and LowFlow Valve.
Food & Beverage Product Manager
Pam comes to us with over 25 years’ experience in the industry. She will concentrate most of her efforts in the Food, Beverage and Dairy markets, selling across our Richards Industrials product groups. Her sales career began with a local multi-turn valve manufacturer. She then made her transition into Industrial PVF distribution. She brings with her a diverse customer portfolio, spending many years working directly within the Food, Beverage, Chemical, Petro Chemical, MRO and many other industrial industries. She studied Business at the University of Maryland and is a member NAWIC, and IFC.
Regional Sales Manager
Eliot joined Richards Industrials in 2020 as Regional Sales Manager focusing on selling control valves, regulators, actuators and accessories for use in biopharma, chemical, food/beverage, petroleum, power generation, steel and related process industries. His duties include directing independent reps in coverage of OEMs and process industry users in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, DC, Virginia, West Virginia and Indiana.
Regional Sales Manager, North America
Tim has been with Steriflow Valve for twenty years and he has more than twenty-five years of industry experience. As regional manager, he’s responsible for training and support of the sales channel, identification of new and emerging markets, and the recruitment of new representatives and distributors.
Regional Sales Manager, Asia
Veerachoke has been with Richards Industrials since 2006. He has experience in industrial sales for more than 30 years in both sales and channels management. Veerachoke holds Bachelor of Science in Technical Education in Computer Technology from King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok. He based in Bangkok, Thailand to support representatives, distributors and customers in Asia-Pacific Region including training, identification of new and emerging markets, developing the markets, and the recruitment of new representatives and distributors.
Regional Sales Manager
Tyler Schroeder started at Richards Industrials in 2010 as an Inside Sales Correspondent. In 2014, Tyler was promoted to Marwin Valve Product Manager where he was responsible for the sales and management of Marwin Valve. In 2016, Tyler decided to transition to Regional Sales Manager and is responsible for the sales in the following states: Hawaii, Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Michigan, Florida, Maryland, and Virginia.
Regional Sales Manager, Europe
Simon has experience as a project Engineer, has been in the process control industry for more than 15 years and the valve industry in particular, for the last 10 years.
He has held Regional Sales Management positions with both Burkert and Schubert & Salzer, GmbH, where he was responsible for the UK and Ireland.
Marketing Communications Manager
Kyndle has been with Richards Industrials since 1998. She is responsible for brand management, marketing strategy and maintaining the corporate identity for Richards Industrials and the seven product lines. Responsibilities include developing, evaluating and managing all websites; managing all aspects of trade show operations; and creating effective marketing collateral for websites, brochures, advertisements, and other communication materials.
Digital Marketing Manager
Logan Moore is the Digital Marketing Manager for Richards Industrials. Logan started at Richards in 2014 as a Co-Op student during her undergrad years at the University of Cincinnati. She graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing, and went on to receive her Master of Science degree in Marketing from UC as well. Logan’s duties include: social media activities, managing digital marketing campaigns, customer communication efforts, lead generation management, content generation and new product releases.
