SSC Series The SSC, Sanitary Subcooled Condenser is a sanitary condensate chamber and steam trap assembly designed to eliminate validation temperature sensor faults associated with condensate backup, and to minimize the space required (12" to 18") for validated temperature sensor / downcomer / clean steam trap assemblies. The design meets Biopharm design guidelines, being constructed of ASTM A479 316L barstock, fully drainable, and mechanically polished to SF1, 20 Ra uin (0,5 Ra um), or optionally to SF5, 20 Ra uin electropolish.
SSC Series Value Proposition
1. The SSC will increase bioproduction asset availability by reducing average annual SIP downtime, by eliminating the number 1 cause for temperature validation sensor faults: Condensate backup between clean steam trap and temperature sensor.

2. The SSC can reduce Project Capital Expenses (CAPex) on new or retrofit installations by allowing installations of tagged, preassembled, finished sensor / downcomber / trap assemblies.
